This teapot is from my ongoing studio collection of floral, porcelain teapots that I make while in residence at my home studio. I make my own porcelain that uses a very special kaolin that is mined in nearby Utah and enhances whiteness and translucency These teapots are very decorative as well as technically functional and food safe.
This Teapot features delicate (but very strong and durable) roses, leaves, and a yellow butterfly on the lid. The gold body is a high fired gold glaze which is a true treasure when it comes out of the kiln this well. It is 5" high and 4" wide.
